Sarah works between London and Margate. She trained at The College of Craniosacral Therapy in Primrose Hill, London. She is also a full member of the British Psychological Society and a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist working in Shoreditch.

She is a self-confessed creative, having worked in the entertainment industry for more years than she cares to remember. She has lived a less than conventional lifestyle, from which she has gained an open mind and a keen curiosity. She is always interested in exploring creative solutions to health and well-being problems. She is well travelled through work and has a passion for learning. Often away from home she studied with the Open University gaining a BSc (hons) in psychology after taking one of her exams in a Japanese hotel room. When she got home, she studied at LCCH and the University of West London obtaining a PG Cert in clinical hypnotherapy which allowed her to explore more creative ways to treat mental and physical health issues.

After studying clinical hypnotherapy, it became clear just how closely the mind and body were linked. The mind being a strong influence on stress related physical conditions and mental wellness and relaxation being at the centre of good physical health. This holistic connection has become intrinsic to her work as a therapist. After receiving craniosacral treatments for a long-term neck injury, she realised that this was the most effective physical therapy that she had ever had. It was clear from her experience that, not only was it effective in relieving her pain and treating her injury, but it was far more complex and seemed to be working on a variety of levels, physically, emotionally and energetically. She decided then to trained as a craniosacral therapist. Sarah studied under Thomas Atlee one of the world’s top craniosacral therapists and uses both biodynamic and biomechanic craniosacral techniques to gently and intuitively work with the whole person in order to balance mind, body and energy. She is over the moon to be working again with Alex at Eucalyptus and more than happy to spend more of her time in marvellous Margate.

Sarah’s training includes biodynamic and biomechanical techniques. she use a variety of light- touch holds on the body and the skull and, if appropriate, gentle physical unwinding techniques on the arms, legs and neck. she works with, listens to and support each client’s system on a holistic level, releasing stored tension and physical and emotional stresses and traumas, which can have profound and far reaching positive effects. You may experience sensations such as heat, cold, tingling or gentle movements as the body responds to treatment. Each session typically lasts for one hour, after which clients often come away feeling very relaxed and calm with a greater sense of inner well-being. A course of 4-6 treatments are recommended initially although many clients choose to have regular sessions for maintenance.

I feel awesome today. I’ve been struggling with sleep, but after my craniosacral session I awoke refreshed with no anxiety or sense of dread”.

“I am genuinely amazed how Sarah is helping me ‘belong’ more fully in my own life by helping me connect to my body and what it’s trying to tell me; both in terms of current emotions but also by exploring how my body has held onto past events. It is a subtle and magic art, hard to articulate but very powerful to experience!
