Awareness of ourselves and the world around us can significantly improve our mental health and wellbeing. Through meditation, we practice bringing our awareness into the present moment. By doing do, we can eradicate feelings of depression and anxiety, strengthening our mental state, bringing peace and clarity.

Mental Health Awareness Week campaigns to open up conversation and remove the stigma around mental health.

Most of us have experienced a time in a lives where we have struggled with our mental health. unsure of where to turn or what to do. it can feel isolating, uncomfortable and threatens our sense of self. During the lockdown, while the possibility of physical connection has been reduced, supporting our mental health has been more important than ever.

This years topic for for mental health awareness week is KINDNESS. Amongst the fear thats been swimming in the collective energy, the unknown and inability to connect physically, there has been a surge in community, support, love and hope.

The acts of kindness and selflessness are wonderful ways in supporting our own mental health, opening our hearts and improving our emotional wellbeing.

Kindness towards ourselves must also be practiced. Often we encounter blocks that don’t always allow us to live with and show ourselves the kindness that we deserve. Through meditation, we soften into our own internal space, we feel and move through these blocks to a place of ultimate kindness. Of course, the very act of giving ourselves a meditation practice is an act of kindness in itself.

In support of this inspiring week, we will be leading a meditation class every morning between 18th - 22nd May to support your journey. Let’s move into a life filled with kindness and compassion.
